2018 Happy Planner™ Lineup!

2018 HAPPY PLANNER™ LINEUP!

After much thought, dreaming, shopping, praying (haha!), and well...planning...I have decided on my 2018 Happy Planner™ lineup! You may say 5 planners is WAY over the top. You may say that my love for all-things paper, crafting, and lettering is WAY over the top. And you know what I have to say to that? NOTHING. I will let the great and wise Benjamin Franklin take it from here:

"Those who fail to plan, plan to fail."

I also realize that I haven't really blogged too much about planners (which is one of my 2018 goals to do more of), so I should probably give a little backstory for those who haven't seen my hundreds of planner posts on Instagram.

About three years ago, I decided to get back into planning. During college, I had the awesome opportunity to receive Franklin Covey training and use their incredible planner and system for my first internship and real job (shoutout to my Pastor at the time, Rod, for that!). But for the first four years of blissful marriage to the one-and-only-fellow-craftsman-extradonaire, Philip, I fell off the planning wagon. Then after our first crazy year with two kiddos, I looked at the hubs and said that I needed to get back into planning. The literal livelihood of our family depended on it—budgets, grocery lists, events, parties, church, appointments...we were drowning in it all. And I'm sorry, my iPhone just doesn't cut it. Kudos to those who can live off of electronics, but paper is where it's at for me. I also wanted something pretty, so my friend (the gorgeous and super fit, Lauren Murphy) got me into Erin Condren. But after spending what felt like a fortune on a planner and supplies, we found The Happy Planner. But, that wasn't all I found. I found a community, I found some of my best and most creative gals for life. I found a huge part of my calling. I found a whole other creative side to me that I had never unlocked before. I also had the GREAT honor of being on the 2016 - 2017 meandmyBIGideas (mambi) Design Team. Holler to my #TalentedTwenty chicks! I am forever thankful for Stephanie Fleming and the entire mambi family. This community has changed my life. I can't wait to see what 2018 has in store.

So without further delay, here is a breakdown of each of my planners and what I will use them for.

1.) Personal & PURSE-onal (Glam Girl ya'll)

The MINI on top of the pile to the left and the CLASSIC on the right are my personal planners aka all-things home. I will cary the MINI in my purse for those on-the-go plans that are made, and the CLASSIC will stay home or on my desk at work with inserts for budget and weekly grocery and dinner lists. I absolutely adore the Happy Planner Girl™ line that came out. While each gal is gorgeous, I can definitely relate more to Glam because of my love for makeup and fashion. If you haven't seen the Glam line, check it out HERE.

2.) WERK IT (Goal Getter)

I am PUMPED about moving into this hourly Goal Getter Planner™. Next to Glam, this Planner Girl™ is definitely a good bit of who I am—dressed in black that is. And now that I am the Social Media Coordinator for Celebration Church, I really need an hourly planner to help me stay on it all. From writing down meetings to what time of day I am posting; and of course, setting goals...this one surpasses them all. If you are in the same boat for work, I highly recommend this one. 3.) Creative Planner (Soft Geo's for Days)

This beautiful bad boy is probably my favorite planner so far which is why I chose it for my creative planner! Creative planner?! I am going to store plans and goals for my book, blog, social media, and other creative projects right here. Living creatively is such a massive part of my life. I really want to accomplish more in 2018 creatively, and I know the only way to do that is to write down my goals—to have something tangible to look at, doodle in, etc. I also LOVE the lettering and colors throughout it. This one is unfortunately sold out on Michaels website, so head on over to your local Michael's to search for it if you want it!

4.) Happy Memory Keeping™ (Every Picture Tells A Story)

Last but certainly not least, I want to dedicate more time in 2018 to recording our family's memories down on paper. The Happy Memory Keeping™ line is perfect for that! I'm moving into this floral BIG planner, and I can't wait to print on my Polaroid zip and get to journaling and laying out memories that can be passed down to my children. This box kit is available at Michaels—get it HERE.

There ya have it babes...my quick breakdown of what I am using each planner for. There are so many areas of our lives where we can get more organized, set more goals, and actually DO THINGS. It's also proven that when we physically write things down, we keep them stored in our minds just a little bit better. I know I do.

Before I sign off on, here is the #1 reason why I use The Happy Planner™. Just like with Benjamin's quote earlier, I'll let another wise man tell ya (c'mon my fellow The Greatest Showman lovers! Woo!):

This product, this community, it makes countless people HAPPY. We connect through our love for a product and end up sharing real life with each other. I have met babes who use the planner to cope with anxiety, depression, loss, giant goals, faith, and the list goes on. I am so thankful for The Happy Planner™. I am so thankful that this is a form of art God has for me to share with you all. Here's to a happy and creative 2018!

What planners are you using this year? Tell me about em in the comments below!
